Animal reproduction is a critical aspect of veterinary healthcare, as it involves the process of producing offspring that will ensure the continuation of various species. This scientific process involves a series of events and mechanisms that are controlled by hormones, genetics, and environmental factors. Veterinary healthcare professionals play a crucial role in maintaining animal fertility and reproductive health, thereby contributing to the overall wellness of animals and their owners. The reproductive process in animals is initiated by the development and maturation of the reproductive organs, which are responsible for producing sperm and eggs. This process is regulated by hormones, such as follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). These hormones play a crucial role in controlling the growth and development of the reproductive organs and regulating the release of eggs and sperm.
