Overview
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders. It is characterized by difficulty with attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. ADHD can disrupt functioning in multiple areas of life, including academic, social, home, and family life. Medication, psychotherapy, education, and lifestyle modifications are used to effectively manage ADHD and its symptoms. With a better understanding of the disorder, along with information on how to effectively manage it, people with ADHD can lead successful and productive lives.
