Overview
Cell Biology is the study of the structure, function, and process of cells and how they interact with their environment. As the basic building blocks of life, cells are fundamental to understanding biological organization and metabolism. This field of science has grown to include the study of cell development, cell communication, and disease processes as well as providing insight into the development of new treatments. Cell Biology is an important branch of science that has greatly improved our understanding of the basic functioning of organisms, allowing us to make advances in medicine, genetics, reproduction, and other areas of study.
