Biography
Dr. Sharafat Ali is a Distinguished Associate Researcher at Chengdu University, Chengdu, China, specializing in photocatalysis and electrocatalysis. He earned his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Heilongjiang University (2015–2020) and completed postdoctoral work at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China beginning in 2020. His research focuses on advanced photocatalytic systems, including modified metal oxides and quantum dot-coupled Z-scheme configurations. His most influential work, "Exceptional Photocatalytic Activities of rGO Modified (B,N) Co‐Doped WO3, Coupled with CdSe QDs for One Photon Z‐Scheme System: A Joint Experimental and DFT Study" (2021), has been cited 79 times and exemplifies his contributions to the field through combined experimental and computational approaches.
